"Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a voter from (insert home) Virginia. I’m calling to express deep concern about a new blanket package ban at Western State Hospital that blocks patients from receiving clothes, hygiene items, books, and personal gifts from family.

      This policy violates Virginia Code § 37.2-400, which protects patient rights to personal possessions, clothing, and communication — unless restrictions are individually justified, which they aren’t.

      Please urge [Delegate/Senator Last Name] to investigate this policy and support legislative oversight. Patients deserve dignity, not deprivation."
